"JAPAN CULTURE" will be released.

To commemorate this iconic collection, collage artist Kosuke Kawamura, one of Japan's leading creators, created the collection visuals.

The collection includes items inspired by kimonos, kendo uniforms, and aprons, traditional Japanese work wear.

The "Sashiko Series" includes a lineup of kimono jackets and shirt jackets,BAPEThe iconic camouflage has been arranged into graphics that resemble family crests and Japanese patterns. In addition, the zip-up parka is available in a wide variety of traditional Japanese colors using vegetable and natural dyes.

The ``Japan Graphic Series'' features graphics inspired by Japanese stores, including the year of establishment and ``APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE.''BAPEExpressing the standard phrase in Japanese. We created a pop-up look by incorporating it into kimono jackets, T-shirts, pants, furoshiki bags, etc. that look like remade sail aprons.

Kosuke Kawamura

Collage artist, art director, graphic designer. In addition to providing graphics for numerous apparel brands, he also designs and directs flyers for live shows and events, DVD/CD jackets, book bindings, advertisements, etc.
Many collaborations that cross genres. He has held solo and group exhibitions at various museums and galleries in Japan and abroad.
In 2022, he will be appointed as the creative director of UNIQLO “UT”.
