BAPE® BLACK has linked up with artisanal Japanese footwear label “foot the coacher” to release their first leather footwear collaboration on 21st November.
Foot the Coacher was founded in 2000 by shoe designer Toshinosuke Takegahara.
Utilizing the shoemaking know-how cultivated in the UK, the company has beautifully combined traditional cordwaining techniques with fashion elements to produce footwear that is both comfortable and stylish.

His ceaseless pursuit of quality and innovative designs echoes BAPE BLACK's brand principles, which led the two brands to team up for this collaboration.
In this collaboration, "foot the coacher"'s "Chaos Mountain Boots" will be used as a blueprint andBAPE® "NEON BLACK" signature CAMO" embossed on the heel and vamp, and all silver parts are "BAPE® "BLACK" uses sterling silver 925.BAPE® The combination of the luxurious yet street-style taste of "BLACK" and the outstanding footwear design of "foot the coacher" results in an elegant finish.
The shoes are made of embossed camel leather and feature an Italian Vibram® sole, making them durable, practical, and sophisticated collaborative footwear that does not compromise on functionality.
The collaboration selected the coacher's "Chaos Mountain Boots" as its blueprint and revamped the design by adding BAPE BLACK's signature “neon camo” embossing to the shoe vamp and heels, as well as replacing all metallic components with BAPE BLACK's 925 Sterling Silver for an elegant finish. Crafted with embossed camel leather and Italy's Vibram® sole, this sophisticated collaboration of footwear offers both durability and functionality.
This collaboration will be released in limited quantities at select stores on November 2020, 11.
