Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, is the mecca of the towel industry.A BATHING APE®︎ (hereinafter referred to as A BATHING APE®)BAPE®The lineup will include "Imabari Towels" from "Imabari Towels" by "Imabari Towels."
Facing the Seto Inland Sea, Imabari is blessed with a warm climate and abundant water sources, and is said to be home to nearly 200 factories, including factories that twist yarn, dye yarn, and weave towels. Towels are mainly manufactured through the processes of spinning, dyeing yarn, warping, weaving, post-processing, sewing, and finishing before reaching the customer. While a division of labor is common, this factory is a rare manufacturer that produces towels in an integrated manner, from dyeing yarn to finishing, and has achieved stable quality control.
The biggest feature of Imabari towels is their absorbency. They are so absorbent that they do not just "dry your body," but simply place them on your skin and they will absorb water. To maintain their quality standards, Imabari towels have a "5-second rule" that requires that a towel begin to sink within XNUMX seconds of floating in water. Only towels that meet this unique standard can bear the red, blue, and white Imabari towel brand logo.
The thread was developed in collaboration with a factory in India, and is gently wound onto a special bobbin to ensure that the thread is dyed evenly and thoroughly.
The water used for dyeing is soft water that has had hardness and impurities such as magnesium removed to a drinkable level. Using this soft water is gentle on the threads and fabric, and allows for delicate and vivid color expression and fully brings out the inherent softness of cotton. Because the color tone changes with changes in water quality and temperature, dyeing data from the past 30 years is stored and great care is taken to prevent color variation.

BABY MILO®︎ is expressed in jacquard weaving in a factory controlled at 24°C and 65% humidity.
To remove the starch, the fabric is washed with soft water, dehydrated, and dried.
